Our Staff

Contact Us

We have a brilliant team of staff who love and care for the children like they are their own.

Our enthusiastic and well-trained team understands the fundamental importance of learning through play.

We take great pride in having a very low turnover of staff, which is a rarity in this type of industry.

The consistency in our staff allows us to maintain continuity with both children and parents and help build valuable relationships whilst in our care.

Our team have relevant childcare qualifications, are Paediatric First Aid trained and have all completed Safeguarding Training

What Our Families are Saying

It is obvious that all of the staff have a genuine passion for looking after children – everyone who works there knows all of the children’s names and take an interest in them, whether they work in that particular room or not.

Staff are excellent, our two children attend 2 days a week its such a peace of mind to know they are here. They are cared for like they are family members as are all the children. If there is a problem staff are approachable and caring, you can be assured you will only have to ask once.

The Old Station Nursery is very well run by a team of people who understand the value of family. If you are considering this nursery I would recommend you speak with the nursery manager and you will instantly know that your kids will be well cared for.

Our Keyworker System

From the very first day your child starts, they will be assigned a keyworker will spend time with them helping them to settle in. They will get to know their likes and dislikes and will observe your child’s progress each day.

Your child’s keyworker will also keep you updated about what your child has been doing that day through your own personal MyNurseryPal account. This online portal will provide you with a timeline of their day. You’ll find out what they had for their snack, what games they played and you’ll even see photos of your child so you don’t miss out!

Your child’s key worker will also meet with you on a regular basis to keep you updated on your child’s progress and concerns can be discussed with the keyworker at any time.

We believe that our keyworker system helps to build a strong relationship while your child is at nursery.
